During the summer of 2017, I had the opportunity to intern at Warner Bros. Entertainment in Burbank, CA in their new technology department. My official role was Digital Initiatives Intern where I worked on a multitude of projects focusing on various forms of emerging technologies such as blockchain, micro-payments, digital distribution strategies, IOT, wearables, and more. My job function had me creating high fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes for enterprise applications, consumer applications, and iOS applications. During my time at Warner, I gained extremely valuable experience in conducting market research, improving upon my UX design skills, prototyping, creating pitch decks, internal communication, listening to client feedback and creating user-focused products, and much more. Unfortunately due to NDA restrictions, I cannot share any of the work I made during my time at Warner, but below I have a short mockup of something I made for my in-person interview before I got the internship.
After receiving a phone call for the interview which was scheduled for the next day, I wanted to display my ability to conceptualize and visually display my ideas through product design that would help Warner Bros. sell more content. I prototyped an iOS app that could function as a portal for all WB future VR experiences. Inside each of the content boxes, I integrated a sort of short pitch-deck for each concept whereas if the app were to be fully developed the idea brought forth in each box would appear. Below are the mock ups I created in less than 24 hours.
